My first year of Media studies at AS level equippted me with plenty of technical skills such as;
- how to use final cut pro
- how to use soudntrack pro
- rule of thirds
- digetic/non digetic sound
- how to make/use foley sound
- different ranges of shot types and the effects each shot type gives off
- correct camera movement to give the effect you want to the target audience
- how to ensure camera/editing reflect the genre i'm trying to portray
- syncing the sound with the video was essential as without a soundtrack the video would not give off a thriller effect, tense music is a convention of a majority of thrillers
